Why turn off the real fans?
I have seen pop evil 9 times in concert. They put on a great show everytime. I don’t understand what they are doing with this album, it sounds like Pop. Granted, their albums have gotten a little lighter as the years have gone on, but never this extreme. Instead of preordering the next one, unfortunately I’m going to have to wait because you guys are turning off the fans that have been with you forever .
It’s so bad lol
Wow...my ears are bleeding
These guys would be lying, however, if they say that Rage Against the Machine is not a strong influence.
Pop Evil Rocks
Easily one of my favorite rock bands over the past 5 years. If you like 10 Years, Evens Blue, you'll L.O.V.E. Pop Evil. For those that have their previous albums, if you loved those, you'll love this one, too... What are you waiting for? Rock On.
The first couple singles pumped me up. I had very high hopes after listening to colors bleed and waking lions. But after listening to the rest of the album, I was let down. Not sure what this soft poppy stuff is. What a waste of my $. Celine Dion rocks harder than this soft album. HUGE LET DOWN!
Great album.... except for Colors Bleed.
By Tony "The Man"
Waking the Lion is a great first release. Why they released Colors Bleed second probably turned a lot of fans off. Terrible song that should’ve been left out.
Several other tracks are awesome. Be Legendary, and Nothing but Thieves would’ve been solid runner up releases.
Still a fan. Just have to delete the rap songs off the album.
Quite a few of the songs on here sound like they took it from Rage Against the Machine and Nine Inch Nails. I wish they would’ve just stuck to their original sound and not venture off to other bands territory’s
You guys are on the wrong road. I appreciate the attempt at pushing the boundries, but this isn't it.
The 1st half started off so hard and perfect and then the 2nd half happened and it was unlistenable. So your basically getting some of there best stuff and some of there worst.
I’m not sold yet
I have all of PE’s albums and instantly loved them all. I can’t think of a bad song on any of them. This album is different though and I’m not sold on it yet. It seems toned down and softer to me. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. It was just unexpected, which is probably where I went wrong... expectations. I’ll keep listening and hopefully it will grow on me. I can’t image that it won’t.
I’ll update stars as/if it grows on me.
