Some of the best stuff I’ve heard in a while. Country music needs more guys like Brent and Chris Stapleton.

It’s about time more people can feel their country music. The groove and vibe Brent puts out is down home funkalicious! I can’t sit still while listening, at home, driving, or at my office. You just gotta move! I love it.
  • Modern Southern Rock

This album conjures feelings that you’ve been transported back to the mid-70s, the heyday of southern rock n’ roll. Yes, by modern standards this is a country record, but listen to “I Don’t See Ya” and tell me you don’t hear Dickey Betts and the Allman Brothers’ influence. .30-06 gives you those Skynyrd vibes, as do a bit of the other songs. Brent and his band, Them, have a laid back, smooth feel to them, as if you’ve just entered his sleepy hometown of Ellaville, GA. I had a chance to meet and talk with Brent. He is as warm and personable as he is in his songs. He loves everyone and takes his time to talk with each of his fans after a show. “Ain’t a Road Too Long” isn’t just a song, it’s his mantra. I’ve heard a good number of these tracks performed live. Support this artist, go to the show, and you won’t be disappointed with this album!
