So, flipping that Sting ‘Shape of my Heart” sample is tough, considering Nas demolished this loop lyrically in 96 on ‘The Message’ from his Sophomore album “It Was Written”, what Juice Wrld does to this loop is incredible use of melody & thought. Also, at 19 years old to talk about this much emotion in hip hop, takes guts. I think this mixtape has the potential to spark a career that could be something great. I never writes reviews, but there are a lot of great songs & the potential I can feel on the whole mixtape is very strong. I could be wrong, I can admit that I thought D.G. YOLA would blow up after ‘Ain’t Gonna Let Up’ dropped, but I can see Juice WRLD making music that others are to worried to make. I hope he proves me right.

Excellent album, I enjoy listening to every song on the album, as opposed to a few good ones like most albums. His beats, lyrics, and flow are amazing. 10/10
  • What’s wrong with the reviews?

I keep seeing reviews saying that this artist is “Just another mumble rapper” or that you can’t learn anything from “songs about drugs and killing yourself” but if you look deeper I think you would find that this artist is very inspired and actually talks about some topics that most other rappers don’t bring up. From talking about fallen rappers to a song about him transitioning through heartbreak over a girl that used to love him he brings some really powerful story’s to his music that can connect to almost anyone. In my opinion Juice WRLD really does deserve a chance because he is very different from some artist today due to his ability to bring a strong message and deliver it in a catchy song.

I have no idea how I bought an album that says it’s from December 22, 2017 when this album just came out this year. As such I’m kissing multiple songs.
